I am a sociologist who use Sociology in everything I do: writing a great copy or selling a product needs the knowledge of society and people.
Among the all available super powers, I have been given the power of writing, and I was pretty lucky: I would not have liked the power of invisibility.
As a writer I write books, articles and stories, which are often published hither and thither in reviews, tomes, magazines, blogs and ebooks.
As a copywriter I create texts for advertising and I enjoy a lot doing it. I’m also crazy for my students of Copy & Business Writing course.
As a sociologist I take part in conferences (often as a speaker).
As a blogger I write for several sport blogs and I have also my own daily blog.
When I was a child I used to dream to win a golden medal at the Olympics. Then I grew up. I play electric guitar, I love music, running, all sports, videogames, social networks, American tv-series, Sardinia’s sky and New Zealand, the classic bee in one’s bonnet.
And I love my dog Giuliano, who is also my favorite target when trying to improve my skills as a photographer.
I describe the reality from my point of view, that is from my 5’15″ - which doesn’t allow me more. I love to take apparently senseless sides that sometimes I grab like I was taking a fly. And when I put on the glasses of disenchantment the results are often stunning.
I like to find original solutions to inform, explain, describe. Imagination is my copilot, hoping that it doesn’t swallow me up so that it makes me see only imaginary friends.
